IB School
Our School
Richmond School operates under the banner of Digital Culture Schools, offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) system for PYP students from K to Grade 5.
- Educational Approach: Through critical analysis, independent research, and practical application, Richmond School focuses on preparing students for higher education, future jobs, and lifelong learning.
- Curriculum Framework: Our school offers an inquiry-based, transdisciplinary curriculum framework that builds conceptual understanding and the development of international mindedness. We follow a student-centered educational approach.
- Global Relevance: The IB system is an example of best educational practice globally, responding to the challenges and opportunities facing young students in our rapidly changing world.
- Student Empowerment: Students use their initiative to take responsibility and ownership of their learning. By learning through inquiry and reflecting on their own learning, IB students develop knowledge, conceptual understandings, skills, and the attributes of the IB Learner Profile.
- Inclusion and Equity: We believe in an inclusive approach to education designed to remove barriers so every student can participate fully. This is supported by a culture of collaboration, mutual respect, and problem-solving involving the whole school community.
- Transportation Services: We offer comfortable and safe transportation to and from school for an annual fee. Our modern buses are equipped with the latest safety measures including surveillance cameras and tracking devices.
- Holistic Development: Richmond School develops caring and culturally aware children, encouraging them to become active participants in their own learning, ensuring intellectual, personal, emotional, and social growth.
